Introduction
Fleet users, with both administrative and basic privileges can now reset their forgotten passwords, independently, without the need of the Fleet Administrator intervention.
Resetting a Forgotten Password
To reset a forgotten password, the following steps should be followed:
1. Visit HandsOn Systems Limited Fleet homepage on https://fleet.handsonsystems.com
2. Click on "Forgot Password?" button, on the right of the Login button.
3. Enter the username in the Forgot Password page. The username is the same email address used to log in to Fleet.
4. Click on "Send Reset Link" button.
5. A confirmation message will be displayed showing that a password reset email has been sent, and the instructions within should be followed to complete resetting the forgotten password.
6. Browse the provided email address inbox. A message from no-reply@handsonsystems.co.uk entitled Forgot Password Request should be available. If the message is not to be located in the inbox, kindly check the Junk folder for Microsoft Outlook-based email accounts, or the the Spam folder for Google-based email accounts.
7. Click on "Click t Reset" button in the email message.
8. The user will be directed to the Fleet Reset Password page.
9. Enter a new password in the New Password field, and re-type the password in the Confirm Password field.
10. Click on the "Reset Password" button.
11. A confirmation message will be displayed showing that a password was reset successfully.
12. A notification email will be received from no-reply@handsonsystems.co.uk entitled Your Password Has Changed should be received at the originally provided email address.
13. The new email message WILL NOT contain the new password.
14. Navigate back to HandsOn Systems Limited Fleet homepage on https://fleet.handsonsystems.com
15. Sign in to your account using the username and the new password.
