Introduction

An Event Report is a detailed statement of the status of a particular event; being an input or a sensor, for a user-defined time period. An Event Report is generated so as to check at what time an input or sensor was triggered on or off and for how long such an input or sensor remained on or off. 


Generating an Event Report

An Event Report is generated by:


1. Go to Reports → Event Report

2. Set the Start Date (mandatory) and End Date (optional) by typing them in or by clicking on the calendar icons.

3. Select the Start Time, End Time, (optional) from their respective drop-down menus.

4. Select the Asset and Input (mandatory) from their respective drop-down menus.

5. Tick the Hide records with zero distance (optional) checkbox to discard events taking place while the asset is stationary.

6. Click the Generate button to generate the report.

A list for the selected input will be generated showing Time, Location, City, Country, Event, State, Speed and Duration, will be displayed in the generated report.

All generated reports can be sorted in an ascending or descending order using a particular column as the sorting point. To sort the report using a particular column:

 

1. Hover over the required column header in the report.

2. Click on the down downwards triangle arrowhead (). 

3. Select between Sort Ascending and Sort Descending from the drop-down menu.

Event Reports can be either printed, exported to Microsoft Excel, Exported as CSV file by clicking the Print, Export to Excel or Export to CSV buttons respectively.
