Introduction

Trip Report provides the user with a detailed summary of the total number of trips within a user-defined period of time, including the total driving, idle and stoppage time. 


A Trip Report is a collective report of multiple trips within the user-defined time frame. A trip is defined as the course between 2 (two) points governed by engine start at the first, and engine stop at the second. 


Generating a Trip Report


Trip Report is generated by:

 

1. Go to Reports → Trip Report

2. Set the Start Date (mandatory) and End Date (optional) by typing them in or by clicking on the calendar icons.

3. Select the Start Time, End Time (optional) from their respective drop-down menus.

4. Select the Asset (mandatory) from its respective drop-down menu. 

5. Click the Generate button to generate the report.

 

Upon clicking on any entry in the generated Trip Report, the actual location will be shown on the mini map in the Stops window. The said window can be minimised by clicking on the down-pointing arrowhead.


All generated reports can be supplemented by extra information, such as DateTimeLocationCityCountryDurationStoppage Time, Driving Time and the Idle Time. To add such information:

 

1. Hover over any column header in the report.

2. Click on the down downwards triangle arrowhead (). 

3. Hover over Columns from the drop-down menu.

4. Choose the information to be included from the side menu.

 

All generated reports can be sorted in an ascending or descending order using a particular column as the sorting point. To sort the report using a particular column:

 

1. Hover over the required column header in the report.

2. Click on the down downwards triangle arrowhead (). 

3. Select between Sort Ascending and Sort Descending from the drop-down menu.

 

Trip Reports can be either printed, exported to Microsoft Excel, Exported as CSV file by clicking the PrintExport to Excel or Export to CSV buttons respectively.
