Introduction


The Vehicles menu item allows the fleet manager(s) to view the existing list of vehicles available in their Fleet account and adding their details, or to add new vehicles to the existing ones. 


Adding a New Vehicle


Fleet managers, not necessarily with Fleet Administrator rights, can add new vehicles profiles to the list of existing vehicles.


To create a new vehicle profile, the following steps should be followed:


1. Go to Operations → Vehicles → New

2. A Vehicle tab will open. The Vehicle tab is exactly the same tab accessed via the Modify Asset Details option in the Live Tracking User Interface (Click Here to read more about the vehicle tab).

3. Fill in the required details.

4. Click "Save".


Adding a new vehicle profile can also be created whilst browsing the list of existing vehicles.


To create a new vehicle profile, the following steps should be followed:


1. Go to Operations → Vehicles → View

2. Click on "New". 

3. A Vehicle tab will open. The Vehicle tab is exactly the same tab accessed via the Modify Asset Details option in the Live Tracking User Interface (Click Here to read more about the vehicle tab).

4. Fill in the required details.

5. Click "Save".


Viewing the List of Vehicles


Fleet managers, not necessarily with Fleet Administrator rights, can view the list of existing vehicles and carry out updating procedures when needed.


To view the list of existing vehicles, go to Operations → Vehicles → View 


A Vehicles tab will open, with a list of existing vehicles, showing its registration number, make, and model.


Editing a Vehicle Profile


Fleet managers, not necessarily with Fleet Administrator rights, can edit existing vehicles profiles.


To edit vehicles profile details, the following steps should be followed:


1. Go to Operations → Vehicles → View

2. Click on the Edit Vehicle icon in the Employees tab for the required user.

3. A Vehicle tab will open. The Vehicle tab is exactly the same tab accessed via the Modify Asset Details option in the Live Tracking User Interface (Click Here to read more about the vehicle tab).

4. Click on "Edit" in the newly displayed Employee tab.

5. Edit the employee's details as required, an employee photo can be added at this level.

6. Click "Save".


Deleting a Vehicle Profile


Kindly note that deleted vehicles profiles are IRRECOVERABLE. 


Fleet managers, not necessarily with Fleet Administrator rights, can delete employees from the list of employees.


To edit employees' details, the following steps should be followed:


1. Go to Operations → Vehicles → View

2. Click on the Delete Vehicle icon "-" in the Vehicles tab for the required user.

3. Click "Yes" in the Confirm message box to confirm profile deletion.

4. Refresh the web page. The deleted vehicle profile should not be available in the Vehicles tab anymore.
