Introduction


The Admin menu item allows the user to carry out fleet management edits and updates on data entry level. The Operations menu, together with its Admin menu item are available at all users' levels unlike the Administration menu (Click Here to read more about the Administration menu).


Top access the Admin tab, go to Operations → Admin 


Vehicle Type


At least 1 (one) vehicle type is required to modify any asset details (Click Here to read more about modifying assets details).


Vehicle Types are quite important for fleet managers to assign vehicle types for the installed assets for efficient management and record keeping.


Adding a Vehicle Type


To add a new vehicle type, the following steps should be followed:


1. Go to Operations → Admin

2. Click on the Vehicle Type child tab within the Admin parent tab.

3. Fill in the "Enter new Vehicle Type" textbox with the new vehicle type (e.g. Trailer, Truck, Van, etc.)

4. Click "Save".

5. The newly added vehicle type will be available in the Vehicle Type list box.



Tour Types


Tour Types function is used mainly by tour organizers.


Adding a Tour Type


To add a new vehicle type, the following steps should be followed:


1. Go to Operations → Admin

2. Click on the Tour Types child tab within the Admin parent tab.

3. Fill in the textbox with the new tour type or name.

4. Click "Add New".

5. The newly added vehicle type will be available in the Tour Types list box.



Ticket Types


Ticket Types function is used mainly by by tour organizers in concurrency with other Admin features, such as Tour Types and Ticket Prices. 


Adding a Ticket Type


To add a new vehicle type, the following steps should be followed:


1. Go to Operations → Admin

2. Click on the Ticket Types child tab within the Admin parent tab.

3. Fill in the textbox with the new ticket type.

4. Click "Add New".

5. The newly added vehicle type will be available in the Ticket Types list box.



Ticket Prices


Ticket Prices function is used mainly by by tour organizers in concurrency with other Admin features, such as Tour Types and Ticket Types. 


At least 1 (one) tour type and 1 (one) ticket type are required to set ticket prices. 


Adding a Ticket Price


To add a new ticket price, the following steps should be followed:


1. Go to Operations → Admin

2. Click on the Ticket Prices child tab within the Admin parent tab.

3. Click on "Add New".

4. In the newly displayed Ticket Price window, the following parameters can be chosen to set a ticket price:

  • Tour Types: Use the drop-down menu to choose from the previously added tour types.
  • Ticket Type:Use the drop-down menu to choose from the previously added ticket types. 
  • Buyer Type: Choose between Adult, Child, Free, Student, Seniors, and Infants from the drop-down menu.
  • Value: User-defined numeric value indicating the price.

5. Click "Save".

6. The newly added vehicle type will be available in the Ticket Prices list box.



Fuel Prices


Fuel Prices is used to track the annual fuel prices fluctuations. The newly entered fuel price, usually per litre, will be added against a timestamp showing the date and time when the new entry was created.


Fuel Prices allows fleet managers to cross check their fleet fuel consumption expenditures based on the fuel price entered and the vehicle's odometer reading. 


Adding a Fuel Price


To add a new fuel price, the following steps should be followed:


1. Go to Operations → Admin

2. Click on the Fuel Prices child tab within the Admin parent tab.

3. Click on "Add New".

4. In the newly displayed Fuel Price window, enter the new price per litre in the available textbox.

5. Click "Save".

5. The newly added fuel price will be available in the Fuel Prices list box.
